agree with above
just add some points:
I mentioned steering column before, but after "changed steering" nothing improved. from observation steering seems to be fine. so the usual complaints that owners have could be mostly linkrod/control arm and something else i havent verified yet. so its not like a huge defect but just needs something done.
after ECU update there is quite minimal gearbox jerk. with a controlled foot it shifts nice and smooth unlike a typical slushbox where it feels heavily padded. its the city traffic jams that bring out some tucks but certainly not rough anymore. on hard acceleration u cant really feel shifts (maybe its meant to be driven hard). mid gear control is quite smooth ie butt dyno doesnt feel much but speedo is climbing well
So for point 3, im also ongoing with AD since before 10,000km. hope they step this up but unfortunately it is happening in UK unresolved as well. Hope Opel comes up with a solution like they did with ECU update.
regarding road noise, i think the bulk of it comes from behind, some kind of hollow whining. gonna try to add some insulation in the boot, as i read some did and improved quite abit.
rattle doesnt happen to me all the time. maybe on really hot days. most days its just quite minus steering noise.
oh yea somehow aircon on/off button may peel if u keep pressing it daily. had it changed under warranty but hope it lasts.
so far touchwood nothing major, running ok, onboard tech running well power aplenty for daily drive and nice torque to play with majority of other makes.
now i just admire its looks. have come to appreciate that it looks pretty timeless. sharp eyes front and back, short bonnet nice booty. gives a well rounded appearance.
previously wanted to change to other car but wife says otherwise. she loves the comfort of the seat and drive.
next change will only be facelifted Merc A180/200! because sucker for tech and body is just superficial hahahahhaha
