Alfa 159 Part II. (any alfa discussion welcomed too)

Haha ... the Grand Punto is a nice car, especially in blue. The Mito design is more "intriguing". The Fiat 500 is another nice small car. I like the fact that all these Fiats and Alfas come manual options without having to indent.

I can fit a stroller + baby chair + pail in the 159 boot - quite a tight fit but can squeeze in. I compared it to my friend's previous gen Honda City, the City boot was double the size of the 159 boot . The City is a smaller car but the boot damn big ... go figure. I got my manual (with clutch version) 159 for 114K 2.5 years ago .. though the price was way higher, the enjoyment so far has been worth it. .. was recently behind a black 159 near Middle Road when a white 159 SW (Sportswagon) zoomed past from the opposite direction. What are the odds man .. I think EA should be moving quite a number of 159s lately judging from the numbers on the road.

What conti brand you dreamt of owning when you were young?

When The Saint (70s version) was on TV, I wanted a Jaguar XJS. I am still impressed by its elegance everytime I see one in a carshow ..

    WIRELESS ISSUES

When I first got my AspireOne there was a bug with the wireless, my symptom is different though - the wireless would not connect or very slow after coming out of hibernation. The fix was to turn off the Power Save Mode - right click the wireless icon select "open network connections". Right click the "wireless network connection" and select properties. Click "configure" and click the advance tab. AspireOne forum, more tips here - AspireOne Forum

I don't think will be much diff from the current price...even the saloon/sportswagon/selespeed/manual are almost the same price (<10K diff). With COE going up and down, the current Q2 selespeed costs less than the manual one I bought 2.5 years ago.

Some people said coming as early as June 09 and I think the 6-speed manuals will come first. The first batch of 2.2 159s that EA brought in were manuals, I have the 4th one to be sold..still enjoying every minute of the drive . Not sure about the Mito... but the newspaper today said someone booked the Alfa 8C Competizione, not sure if EA will let us test drive (before it gets delivered to someone in Malaysia).
