    2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross

Hi guys, any idea if C&C does car seat cleaning? As my dog accidentally peed on the rear seat and some of it went into the seat and the smell is lying at the underside of the seat (require to remove the seat for proper cleaning).
  2. Wow spoilt milk smell is worse
  3. Highly Suspect it seep to the bottom of the rear seat. Can smell it there. By now the urine might be dried off. Would charcoal still be able to absorb the odour? Or only works on moisture? I have placed packets of charcoal below the seat. Will check and see the difference Tmr morning.
  4. Agreed. But I think the source is from inside the seat now. On the seat I’m not able to smell it but under the seat, I can smell. And it’s not from the floorboard side but the under of the seat itself which is difficult to access. The urine would have dried off by joe but the smell is still quite there. Will try put charcoal below the seat to see if it can absorb the smell. Thanks for the suggestion. Have tried using the gel type charcoal + fragrance but it only mask the smell and not remove it. Will try put the powder form charcoal you suggested. Yea that’s what I think also. The smell is sitting deep inside the seat. I’ve cleaned the floorboard area below the seat. But the smell is coming from the underside of the seat itself. Which is quite hard to access Would sending to a shop for interior steam cleaning remove the odour? If so, any recommendation of shops that actually work in removing odour completely. Thanks
  5. Hi guys, my pet dog accidentally peed in the rear seat (my fault for not walking her earlier). I used tissue to soak the urine from the seat (leather seat) and clean it. The next day when I came to the car, there was a strong smell. Can’t really pinpoint where the smell is coming from but it’s at the rear seat. Realised that some parts of the seat were made of fabric (those sections for the seat belt buckle and child seat Anchor Point). Suspect the urine might have gone through these fabric parts and soaked and lying at the underneath of the seat hence giving out the smell. Tried the following: 1) vacuuming the area 2) fabreeze 3) baking soda on the seat overnight 4) charcoal deodarizer with fragrance gel The first 3 did not help much. The deodorizer help in masking the smell (since it has fragrance) but I’m still able to smell the pungent smell now and then. I have tried spraying fabreeze on the suspected areas lots of times. But it doesn’t help much. When open the car door, I can still smell abit of the pungent smell. Is it possible that the urine might have seeped through the leather seat and hence the smell is coming from inside the leather? If that’s the case, any advice on how to remove the smell from the leather seat? Thanks in advance. Anyway the car is only 4 months old

Remove Bad Smell In The Car

Yes backed up the video. But from the video itself can’t really see the braking as it was like a 1 sec sudden brake.

After abt 1 1/2 months of getting my EC, today I experienced the FCM activation of brakes. Car Infront was quite a distance away and suddenly auto brake. Lucky at that time my speed was quite slow and the car behind was not too close. Will highlight to C&C when I go servicing

Anyone ordered their EC recently? How Long is your waiting time for the car to be delivered? I booked mine this month and was told Dec/jan collection

    Just purchase a Chevrolet Cruze

Saw a couple of bad reviews of them in some websites but they were quite outdated. But to be fair there were also many good reviews about their experience and parts with Chevrolet cars. And I had to change my timing belt so I thought they were the next best place(after alpine) to get the timing belt changed as they were Chevrolet specialist. For normal servicing wouldn't take the risk to go back there

Unfortunately I did not take a photo. Was driving when I realised the temp level went to "H" zone and had a warning tone sounding off. Stopped the car and checked that the coolant tank was completely depleted and realised the tube had broken off completely and dangling. I strongly doubt it could have been caused due to the environment reasons. A more logical reason and what I doubt is that MAYBE when I brought the car for timing belt change, the technician might have applied a force on the tube knowing or unknowingly causing a crack on the tube which propagated and broke the tube completely within a few days... Just my thought Anyway it was the transparent small "tube" protruding from the coolant tank which connects to the black rubber tube that broke off together with the black rubber tube.. Hard to explain in words

Have been driving the 1.6 cruze for 4 years. Yes the gear change from 2-3 can feel a very obvious jerk almost every time no matter how soft or hard I press the accelerator. I agree that it is underpowered compared to other cars BUT it is not as bad as what others claim. The car is heavier than other cars in its league. The door is heavy and sturdy (which I like) due to reinforced bars placed in the doors for safety. And the car is very stable when travelling above 100km/h whereas other cars I have driven have this light and floatly feeling. Anyway, talking abt RDY, have you had any bad experience with them? Went to them for my last servicing and a few days later, my coolant tank tube had broken and leaked. Examining the way the tube broke, realised that there is no way it would have broke "naturally" or due to strong vibrations unless it had been tempered with. Hmmm

    2013 Cruze

Hi cruzers, does anyone service your Cruze at workshops other than alpine or RDY motors? I'm looking for a recommended workshop for servicing of my Cruze and changing timing belt too..
