Within seconds, the BMW sent the cyclist flying in mid-air before crash landing head-first on the ground. Despite being aware of the collision, the BMW did not stop to render any assistance to the cyclist involved. Instead, the BMW driver floored the accelerator and left the accident scene immediately.
