  1. So cute! Will it reach our shore? http://www.dexigner.com/news/21624
  2. Get ready for the midget Aston Martin. The automaker has confirmed plans to launch the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet in 2011. Designed to set a new benchmark for compact luxury, the Cygnet is Aston Martin's answer to increasingly stringent fuel economy and emissions standards. As such, power will likely be derived from a 1.33-liter petrol engine with 97 hp and 91 lb-ft of torque. The mini automobile is expected to achieve a combined fuel efficiency of 55mpg and emit 120gram of carbon dioxide per km. According to Aston Martin CEO, Dr Ulrich Bez, "Whatever we do, we do right. If we do performance, we do performance; we don't downsize or compromise our sports cars. The Cygnet needs to satisfy the demands of emissions and space. It is a car without compromise, just like every other Aston Martin."
  3. For the sake of those who doesn't watch professional wrestling, Hornswoggle is a dwarf currently working for the World Wrestling Entertainment. When I saw this video on the Aston Martin Cygnet, it reminds me of Hornswoggle - a midget among the giants. To begin with, there's no official information about this short film. Unless someone managed to sneak into Aston Martin's headquarters in Gaydon, we have to assume that the British supercar maker created the viral video to ignite some online attention on its controversial Cygnet mini in order to gauge the public's reaction before going further with the project. The size of the Cygnet is similar to the Toyota iQ. There is currently no news about the engine/gearbox configuration for the Cygnet. To end this entry, I've attached some photos of the Cygnet for those who can't get enough of the Cygnet from the video.
