  1. I'm thinking of changing from 18" to 17" on my people-mover for comfort reasons (less noise), however when i initially upgraded, I felt that turning radius was sharper with the 18" upgrade - i'm not sure if its entirely new to the wider 18" tires or better quality ones (18" high performance vs comfort GR30 on the 17"). Possible to downgrade from 18" to 17" and keep current over/understeer characteristics ?
  2. I am not sure if this is true to you. However, this is what I had experienced. I think this is especially true when washing the wheel while the disc brake is still hot, or drive off immediately after wash. The materials could have soften, inducing earlier prematured wear off. One or two times a week may not have significant effect. However, daily wash will see impact. My earlier disc brake wear off after about 45K mileage on daily wash basis. So is my earlier car. Now I wash my car once a week and the disc brake seems to last longer. Not sure if you guys have experience this.
