  1. I'm thinking of changing from 18" to 17" on my people-mover for comfort reasons (less noise), however when i initially upgraded, I felt that turning radius was sharper with the 18" upgrade - i'm not sure if its entirely new to the wider 18" tires or better quality ones (18" high performance vs comfort GR30 on the 17"). Possible to downgrade from 18" to 17" and keep current over/understeer characteristics ?
  2. 1. Read somethings interesting about tyres in the Wheels magazine. 2. It was mentioned on page 58 in Ju7ly issue that wide tires tend to 'float' on standing water and the tread never have a chance to dig through to the road surface to gain traction. This is also the reason why snow tyres are narrower and have a smaller contact patch thna normal tyres. What do you guys think? Wider is not better than narrower? Regards,
