just change my carburretor last sat. i'm driving a 91 swift. cos my fc drops to very very low, i think 8km/litre n car no power. finally decide to change it. went to my regular workshop to get it done, i'm also not very sure, but from wat my mech told mi, my existin carburretor can adjust 2 idling rpm, 1 for the aircon n the other one for the car idling. but the recon carburretor tat i goin to install oni got the normal idling control but not the aircon idling. as he said this recon carb is imported, not from local scrap yard, tats y the design different. for mi wise as long as the recon carb is gd, i also dun care from where. after installin the recon carb. my mech check the carbon dioxide level, he said the optimum level is around 3. when the aircon is off, the initial CO level is 3.8, then he tune it to around 3. but when the aircon is on, the CO level shoots to 7 or max. he said becos the imported carb dun hav the aircon idling control, tats y he cant really reduce the CO level. but after some testin n tunin here n there, he managed to tune the CO level when aircon is off to around 2, n when aircon is on the level is around 3. he say FC will be better. the problem is when aircon not on, my idling RPM is 2000. when aircon is on, the th idling becomes around 1000 to 1100 RPM. this is still ok to mi. then i took the car for a test round n i off the engine, usually i off the aircon before i off my engine, to my astonishment, upon switchin off my engine i heard a lot of funny or gasy noise from i think carb area. last for around 3 second. then i asked my mech hw come like tat, he told mi becos when i off engine with aircon off, my idlin rpm is 2k tats y from 2k to 0 will cos this noise. which i dun think so as my previous carb i also tried to off from 2k but not gasy noise. he told mi if i off my engine with aircon on, as the idling rpm is only 1k, there isnt any gasy noise. i indeed notice the recon carb has more power than my old one n my jerkin of car when i engage low gear also gone after changin the recon carb. so now in dilemma whether to get my mech to get a same one with aircon idling from local scrap yard, but he said the quality wise he also cannot assure whether its in gd condition or not. or just stick to this imported recon carb. anyone has any advise for mi? cos my mech said if i really wan to, he can change back a carb fr local scrap yard within these few days. but quality wise he also cannot assure.

Is there any advantage to change engine oil after the first 1000km? Pls advise thanks.
