Had wanted to change to Vision Plus last week but to my surprise, the workshop mechanic thought it uses the H4 but found that it can't fit in. My ride, a Nissan Sunny VIP aka B15, uses a strange size light bulb coded IH01. Compared the 2 and seems that the only obvious difference is the base plate of the IH01 is smaller than the H4, bulb look the same. Seems like all those aftermarket light bulbs can't fit into my headlight housing as couldn't find any of the manufacturers have such size. Found out that can only get original IH01 light bulbs from certain authorised workshops and they cost >$30 each!!. Damm!!! At that price, should be getting blue vision already and still have change. Now feel like one big radish waiting to be chopped. Only hope that my original bulbs last can long long. Sorry for such a long winded post, need to vent some fustration. P.S. Since the B15 is a JDM car, wonder what do cars in Japan use. A search over the internet for IH01 turn up nothing.
