  1. Why Drivers Hate To See Cyclists To all cycling enthusiasts and pro-cycling people, this 'PBK' in the video is one reason why drivers hate you. Please watch this video (uploaded by SG Road Vigilante) and tell me whether you feel the rage I feel as a driver. Source: SG Road Vigilante YouTube What's Happening In this 0.29 second video, we see a cyclist doing a series of wrong things (in just 3 seconds) 1. He's cycling on a footpath when he should be on the road 2. He does not check his blind spot 3. He makes a 'lane change' to the road with total disregard to traffic This incident happens along Mandai Road, near the Mandai Crematorium (which is where he would have gone if he had been run down). What's worse, from the cam car's footage, it looks like it might have hit the KIA Niro in front that had to do an emergency brake (the recording cuts off before any impact, so I can only speculate). The Online Chatter THIS PERSON’S COMMENT ALL CAPS. I CAN FEEL THE ANGST. I also say.
  2. In case you're wondering what a Fiat Doblo looks like. It's a goods vehicle. Why is this information important for this story? Take a look at this latest viral video But, I don’t understand Malay! Don't worry! We translated the whole conversation for you thanks to my malay colleagues! Sounds similar? I think they made this video in response to another video of two guys doing 180km/hr on the expressway in a Suzuki Swift Sport. We wrote an article about that just yesterday btw (blatant backlinking opportunities should not be wasted). You may click the link below to check the story out. https://www.mycarforum.com/blogs/entry/6008-someone-is-keen-to-show-that-their-swift-sport-can-do-180kmh-on-the-cte/ On top of that, the person who uploaded the video included this in the caption It's a good laugh If you didn't realise, they weren't actually speeding. The speedometer of the vehicle seems to be faulty, and these two funny guys thought that they could have a bit of fun with it. The driver's laughter made me lol more than once. That’s for sure. Don't need call polis please and thank you!
  3. A very blurry video has been uploaded on Roads.sg's Facebook page. It hasn't gone viral yet (at the time of writing this article) but, there's a massive potential for it to explode online. Help me out here people. I'm very divided about this one. It's a short 25-second video of a driver attempting to drive through a pedestrian crossing when the green man indicator is lit. This action angers an Ang Moh pedestrian and a clash of egos ensue. If you haven't seen the video, here you go! Thanks, Roads.sg The driver’s perspective There's a noticeable gap/window for cars to drive through the pedestrian crossing even though you can see the blinking green man. The two vehicles in front of him went through with no issues. If it's safe to go through, why not right? The pedestrian’s perspective The Ang Moh pedestrian who came running up to stop the driver from proceeding must have felt that the driver was too impatient and should have just waited a little while longer before making the turn. Clash of egos The pedestrian then proceeds to block the driver until the green man turns red before walking out of frame. You’ve made your point, move along lah! Why need to do this? This isn't Hong Kong eh! The driver, on the other hand, keeps saying that "he has a camera". Pretty pointless statement in this case no? Can you see why I feel divided on this? What the people say Next day newspaper headlines: "Body of man found swimming with the fishes" Probably a joke. Probably. The injustice of it all still lingers in the hearts of many like the death of Harambe. I guess, in the eyes of the public, we know whose side they're on. The driver needs a better dashcam though.
  4. Happening now at junction of Bukit Batok West Avenue 6 and Bukit Batok West Avenue 8 ! https://www.facebook.com/MothershipSG/videos/1651711088201870/
