Vettel wins the procession-like European Formula 1 Grand Prix

The European Formula 1 Grand Prix was held at Valencia recently and to tell you the truth, I fell asleep after a few laps. I suppose it was late in this part of the world but it wasnt like the last Grand Prix. That one over in Canada was wild and wet. This one was a procession. A procession that was won by Sebastian Vettel. Again.

This was with KERS, DRS and Pirelli tires (which likes to wear out pretty fast). All of this was to aid drivers in the quest for more overtaking capability and for more thrills. This time nothing delivered. This was even with the fact that FIA had stopped allowing different engine mapping for qualifying and race day.

It could be because Valencia was a street circuit. Too tight maybe. Who knows. All I know is that at the end (when I woke up), Sebastian Vettel came in first, Fernando Alonso came in second and Red Bulls second driver Mark Webber in third. And then I also noted that all of the 24 entrants finished the race. It must have been a procession as no one crashed. Amazing. Amazingly boring.

I wonder if I can stay awake during the upcoming British Grand Prix on the 10th of July. Maybe it should rain for things to get interesting.
