Ridiculously hilarious footage shows a foreign worker attempting to help his friend navigate their Toyota Dyna out of a parallel parking lot, only for it to end up hitting the vehicle behind them.

This incident occurred on Tuesday (July 20) at Upper Weld Road, located in Little India.

The minute-long clip starts with the lorry suddenly jerking forward before reversing in a comical attempt to get out of the parking lot.

Due to the jerky reversing, the vehicle could not swing out as intended. Trying to help his friend, the foreign worker sitting in the passenger seat alights the lorry and acts as a manual guide while the vehicle continues to reverse in the tight space.

As the Toyota Dyna gets closer to the black vehicle in the parking lot behind it, the vehicle commander gestures for his friend to stop reversing.

However, his friend does not seem to notice his signal and continues reversing. The lorry inevitably hits the bonnet of the black car behind as the foreign worker grabs the back of it to prevent further damage.

The whole ordeal felt like a cartoon act as the driver successfully leaves the lot, almost forgetting to let his vehicle commander friend back onto the vehicle.

I don't think the driver will be asking his friend for parking help any time soon. Sabo King ttm!

Lorries and trucks should install reversing sensors/radars and camera. This will be good for pedestrians, especially kids and children who are behind.

Listening to music while working: Does it actually help?

It’s likely a common sight in every office you set foot in: Workers with their heads buried in their desktops/laptops, earbuds dutifully plugged in (or headphones chucked on). Having a tune to go into battle alongside you against anything that happens at work seems to be as essential as having a caffeinated drink perched on the table, it seems. Thus also arises the question, however: Does a symphony of melodies really serve as the secret ingredient to unlocking peak productivity? The debate

    Singapore’s ultimate NDP song?

As my JC classmates suddenly made plans this year to have an NDP watch-party (this is likely our first in the 12 years we’ve known each other), I found myself falling into a state of nostalgia again: This time, thinking about how NDP songs have evolved over the years. It’s not a stretch to say that each NDP song - from the inception of the idea of an NDP song back in 1984 - has woven itself somewhat into the fabric of our collective memories. Whether you were singing along loudly in primary
