TL:DR – Driver drives to a cemetery searching for a ghostly adventure at Bukit Brown Cemetery and does not leave disappointed. Or were there some other forces behind this bizarre incident?

Let's jump right into it

Here’s the link to the video.

Finding adventure at a cemetery?

Who in their right minds finds adventure in a cemetery?

Go to USS, take a roller coaster. Or take a hike around Pulau Ubin (in the afternoon). Bur, a cemetery is not adventurous. It’s just dumb. What if something follows you home?

Strange happenings

The driver chances upon a white car (presumably a CX-5) stuck at the side of the road.

Quote

“It looks like something was pulling the car ahead of us to the side. So, we slowly reverse back out and call the police for help”

But I didn’t see anything pulling the car when I reviewed the footage. Hmm.

Here’s a scientific explanation

The CX-5 is a front-wheel drive, and the car’s front left wheel fell into a drain, so it got stuck.

While the driver tries to reverse, it gets lifted off the ground, but there’s not enough traction since only one wheel is grounded. Therefore, the car sways left and right.

Does that make sense?

  • I never knew Monster Trucks were so popular here

Although it appeared to be selling out fast back when my friend shared the link to the Monster Jam Singapore event some months ago, I could never expect just how popular the event turned out to be until the day itself. You see, originating in the USA, Monster Trucks aren't really an international phenomenon, unlike F1 or other forms of motorsports. Even someone like me, who's very interested in cars, doesn't really know much about these massive machines. And yet, on the day of the even

    Singapore’s ultimate NDP song?

As my JC classmates suddenly made plans this year to have an NDP watch-party (this is likely our first in the 12 years we’ve known each other), I found myself falling into a state of nostalgia again: This time, thinking about how NDP songs have evolved over the years. It’s not a stretch to say that each NDP song - from the inception of the idea of an NDP song back in 1984 - has woven itself somewhat into the fabric of our collective memories. Whether you were singing along loudly in primary

This should be the true Singaporean national dish

Singapore is known to be a melting pot of different cultures, races, people and of course, cuisines from all over the world. You can probably find food from most places here in Singapore, but we also have some dishes that we like to think of as our national dish - okay, google says there isn't an officially declared national dish, but Chicken Rice is one of those that's often mentioned. Yes, we all love Chicken Rice, but it isn't really unique to Singapore.... Nasi Lem

In life, there is no pleasure without pain

Before anything else, let me assure you that this is not about BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism). Like many of my posts, this is an observation about life. More specifically, the duality of pain and pleasure that exists within it. Let's consider the analogy of light and dark: A room seems bright because the darkness subdued. Yet without the presence of darkness, how do we perceive the brightness of the light? Similarly, we cannot savour the sweetness of pleasure without the
