Tks! D, U may buy the antenna base, but changing it is gonna be a major prob.....cos u'll have open up underside of your roof panelling to access the base of the antenna from the inside. How I know this ?? HAve seen the mechs doing this in Servo replacing the same unit on an Ibiza. Believe u me.....its not an easy task ...... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

The mechanism in Octy are mostly made of plastic with the assistance with rubber, therefore if contact with direct sunlight, the expansion and contraction of plastic will be more and the wear and tear have also increase ...
