U can check with Lightspeed, believe he just changed his because of "cracking" antenna. Think he bought from Xin Zhong. Or you might want to try those short antenna replacements, try searching the forum.

Good luck. [thumbsup]

If the antenna is broke, how to replace it? I can't seem to remove the antenna... Keep screwing and screwing and screwing somemore... Antenna doesn't want to come off... [:p][sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

D,

U may buy the antenna base, but changing it is gonna be a major prob.....cos u'll have open up underside of your roof panelling to access the base of the antenna from the inside. How I know this ?? HAve seen the mechs doing this in Servo replacing the same unit on an Ibiza. Believe u me.....its not an easy task ...... [lipsrsealed][smash]

Common indeed [:)] ... Try to park in enclosure area to avoid direct sun light [cool] ... The mechanism in Octy are mostly made of plastic with the assistance with rubber, therefore if contact with direct sunlight, the expansion and contraction of plastic will be more and the wear and tear have also increase [thumbsdown] ... Therefore, most rubbers and plastic wouldn't last long in this local climate... [mad]
