Protege 1st Gear August 4, 2005 Share August 4, 2005 I am planning to add 1 more amplifer to drive my mid of my speakers. I am using the Audison LrX4.300. Planning to use 2 channel of that to drive the tweeters and 2 channel bridge to drive the sub. Planning to then add a 2 channel amp to drive the mid. Is it better that I get back an Audison LrX 2 channel or use another series of Audison or a different brand is better? Fasthonda Neutral Newbie August 5, 2005 Share August 5, 2005 are you talking about 2 way my friend? get another mono-block will do. why confuse yourself with the wirings? your 4 ch amp can run both the tweeters and the mids get a monoblock to drive the sub. Protege 1st Gear August 10, 2005 Author Share August 10, 2005 Running the PHD FB 6.1 Pro. I find that 65W to the tweeter is good enough. But I want the mid to be kicking more. I would think at least another 3 months or so before looking at any change. Must enjoy what I have before upgrade. Then can hear the difference for the price I pay!
