Firstly, you will not pass the inspection. Next, it is dangerous, when comes to heavy braking especially during wet weather. The car will have a brake biased towards the larger tyre and also you car will go towards the larger tyre during travelling. Furthermore, the suspensions will be uneven, which is dangerous, or will have to work harder and might be damaged, it is pound foolish penny wise.

Safety and not just saving. Saved on the Armour all, soft 99 stuffs and you can make the difference for the tyre and you can always buy a Old tyres (not used) which is half the amount.

cause my mum dont know anything just go and buy loh

then buy back i see the car like tht i slam my head!

even the guy at the shop ask her chg 2 tyres better then 1 but she insisted at 1.

haha, told her not chg cause my car reachg 50000km, so i would b chging all four soon but she just wont listen cause i no spare tyre. Then when she drvs, which is so seldom, she feels very insecure.

bah!

now i went back shop, chg back my lower profile one and put tht bigger tyre as spare tyre. At least the shopkeeper say if i want to chg all four of my tyres i go back to him he will buy back tht same tyre at the same price sold to me.

[thumbsup]

but old tyres half the price oso half the lifespan, so in long run mayb still sama sama.

so mayb i will chg to the larger profile tyre in my next tyre chg, but fuel consumption will increase 5%?

Thx for this advice, didnt knew it was tht serious a thing, wnted to heck care but heng i went back to chg back to old tyre

maybe I was not clear about old tyres and Used tyres. Old tyres are like those from new cars, who owners give them up almost brand new, for larger sports rims sizes. I have been using this kind of tyres, let those young men use their hard earned money for the upgrades and we must as well benefit from it.
