A stock S4 loses to stock STI slightly on a roll 2. A stock S4 loses to stock STI big time on a standstill 3. BMW320i Neutral Newbie September 23, 2005 Author Share September 23, 2005 Actually dude, the S4 has mild mods on it otherwise it won't pull like a MOFO High end wise, no doubt about it. S4 is quick. Its for a historical fact that AWD (STI etc etc etc) are quicker off the launch compared with FR (350Z, GTT34 etc etc etc) so thats nothing new. Also not forgeting that the STI in that video is a 2.5L engine. I have a Fifth gear video on the STI (2L) vs EVO vs S4, and seems like the S4 beat the STI from a dig. Falc 3rd Gear September 24, 2005 Share September 24, 2005 Aiyo they are the historical master of AWD leh, not copier of BMW lah. Just realised from the file name of the video that this S4 is probably using the older 2.7L bi-turbo stock 250HP V6 engine, but modded to higher spec LPT, instead of the newer 4.2L NA V8 stock 344hp engine. Saw the ST today? The new RS4 rocks, 4.2L NA for 420HP with max torque available at 2250rpm onwards. Got to read up more... After many seconds, the WRX driver realized no fight and gave up. The Audi station wagon turned left into the black and white bungalow estate just before the AYE turnoff. The Audi station wagon turned left into the black and white bungalow estate just before the AYE turnoff. You bet! The Audi RS6 is one sleeper of an actually very very fast station wagon, co-designed by Audi and Porsche. It even uses the large red Porsche brake discs. AFAICR, 0-100 in 4+ secs ... bi-turbo, 4WD Quattro with Torsen Differentials. Stock to stock, the WRX cannot even touch the RS6 ..... inspite of the latter being 'only' a station wagon. BMW320i Neutral Newbie January 4, 2006 Author Share January 4, 2006 RS6s are the ultimate sleepers. Those things pull like a freaking train on one of the Nurburgring videos I downloaded. Have yet to spot any RS6s. S4 once but that was a couple of years ago. Managed to spot a Ferrari 612, CLS 55 AMG ("I think" its a full carlsson bodykit ), E55 AMG and 2 M5s with 1 of them debadged.
