as above. does installing a volt stabiliser (for eg. Pivot, RMK, HKS, etc) improve the sound quality? anyone care to share?

understand that volt stabilisers have been in the market for ages but surprisingly can't find a thread in the ICE section about such stuff... [:p]

There is a Pivot stabiliser for audio sound improvement. It is purple or pink in colour. Capacitor in use to support the drawing of current when your sub thumb. If you can afford it can improve the system dynamic. [angel][angel]

get yourself a capacitor.if yr system is 1000w and below get a 1.0 farad cap or 2.0 farad for 1000w and above will be fine and so on.

thought ICE capacitors (those big 1 farad cylinder kind) are useful for SPL systems which are high-power and draw lots of current? [:/]
these over-sized cap are normally mounted near the power amps which draw high current for low freq or bassy sound, so they are far away from the battery terminals to be effective for the ECU. Tats why now upmarket volt-stab for good clean dc supply to ECU. Noise in the engine bay are normally higher frequencies. [nod] Juz my S$0.02. [:p] Edited by Normal_aspirated
