Garis Clutched October 11, 2005 Share October 11, 2005 Just bought new shoes for my ride. Got them from Donny (Khai Wah) at $90 before gst (195/55/15)...i think quite a good deal...still too early to tell but 1st day driving very silent and cornering much much better than my old CPC...overall very satisfied ↡ Advertisement

Octopus 3rd Gear October 12, 2005 Share October 12, 2005 (edited) i think r price is not that great i still prefer korea more thailand the pattern is quite near to hankook 424 Nope. I'm on Hankook H424, and I'm quite certain that the tread pattern is different. If you noticed H424 tread pattern carefully, you'll noticed that some portioned are chamfered and some portion are rounded so as to optimise water dispersant thus minimising aquaplaning. Rickyokc Neutral Newbie October 28, 2005 Share October 28, 2005 how is yr hankook v8 tyre performing lately
Octopus 3rd Gear October 28, 2005 Share October 28, 2005 Still good. These few days had some heavy rain and I got the chance to test out the wet performance. No problem in the wet provided that the water is not too high, about 1 ~ 2 cm water level no problem, cut thru easily without much force being transmitted thru the steering wheel. Braking also good, I got the 'opportunity' to test my emergency brake yesterday evening while going back home after work, and a dog suddenly dashed out across the road. Managed to braked in time (didn't hit the dog), but scared the sh*t out of me. But its the quite and comfy ride that I like about it. Hopefully it will remain as such after much more mileage.
