Spark plug Carbon Fouling

previously i used rating 20 plugs....found that is too cold...got carbon foulings....

 

then i change to rating16 NGK iridium plugs....

 

after using for few months...i decided to take out and see....found that still got carbon fouling....

 

anyone can help me....my FC is poor also...maybe is due to this problem...

It looks like only plug no.3 has this problem, so you can discount out your F/A ratio running over rich. It looks like your no.3 intake/exhaust valve or injector has excessive deposit thus the uneven combustion.

I would recommend you should run a strong dose of injector cleaner for a few tank, see if it solve your problem.

Errr.....actually, I think your spark plug looks OK leh?dizzy.gif How many mileage had you clocked so far with the set of spark plug?

i bought the REDEX fuel injector cleaner...there is 2 type...one type is restores performance= $18.50 the other type is for maintainence =$9.50

 

i bought the restore performance one...hopefully will help..gossip.gif
