Hi Bros,

Need some comments on which one is better. I just installed Simota Carbon Charger and an aluminium airhose.

Set up A: Airhose not connected to Airfilter but placed near entrance of filter.(Roar is much louder!)

Setup B" Airhose connected to airfilter directly.(Roar less loud, does not affect my ICE that much)

Pls see Pictures for clearer illustration...

Which one will give better performance ah? or is it the same??? [confused]

for A, the intake will be taking in hot air once your car warms up enough. Maybe for the first 10-15 not much diff. But try it on a hot sunny afternoon then you can tell the diff.

For B, it will be taking in cool air all the while, so it should be a better set up than A.

Why don't you try both a give a review? [sly]

Your car auto or manual?

Hello Momo_Aveo

I am also getting a Simota Carbon Charger with CAI pipes to the bottom front of the bumper. But heard from a friend that for Civic's, SRI with heat shield is better... any comments? How much did you pay? I was quoted $240 for the whole set-up.
