Jazzer Neutral Newbie January 19, 2006 Share January 19, 2006 got chance but very slim!! how many horses does a B18 civic pulls as compare to a rex.... base model stock pulls 250 horses at flywheel... without FI there is no way!! unless you are driving NSX then another story all along.... compare apples with apples lah :) If both drivers are as capable as each other, the civic would win. Turbo cars are fast, but they run out of puff at high end. Probably at 4th or 5th gear in a drag, civic will pull it off. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

My friend's $60,000AUD HSV V8 5.7L carrying 3 pax had his ego totally smashed. But 200kph onwards the HSV was still pulling like a train while the wagon ran out of puff. Slower cars will finish the quard just after shifting to 3rd, faster ones cross the line while on 2nd. Its not like in the movies where everyone has like 10 gears to shift from.
