Jamesgetz 4th Gear April 11, 2006 Share April 11, 2006 Saw in the papers and online ads that the Sport (1.6M) is available for booking thru' PI shops. Price about $60K+++ which is not too bad. On paper, century sprint is 8.6s. Has anyone test driven the car? Even better still, anyone owns of this pocket rocket? Comments pls! ↡ Advertisement
Athrin 1st Gear April 11, 2006 Share April 11, 2006 Hi, How does the Swift Sport's 0-100km timing compares to e Jazz? Thks
Vociferouskitten Neutral Newbie April 11, 2006 Share April 11, 2006 different league la! how can you compare swift sport with jazz????????? it's like pitting Chelsea with Sunderland! Swift Sport is about 130bhp and jazz only 80+!!!!
Blueblack Neutral Newbie April 12, 2006 Share April 12, 2006 Kenna not $60k leh, when I ask with logical coe bidding price then like 67k or more with all the necessary option.... body kit, alum rim, radio, etc. This price I take civic manual for few k more. Slightly more in the century spin but no headache when I want to sell.

Jamesgetz 4th Gear April 12, 2006 Author Share April 12, 2006 maybe the 1.5M Vtec Jazz can still smell smoke... the 1.3 version can go marina south. But Jazz dynamite (with K20 series 2L engine if I'm not wrong) will eat Swift Sport. anyway, not here to compare SS with Jazz. wanna hear from someone who is driving the SS and what are the feedback/comments. Jamesgetz 4th Gear April 12, 2006 Author Share April 12, 2006 notice i put "$60K +++ ". yah, thinking hard about the civic too which makes more practical sense -> much more space and has a proper boot. the 2L MT Civic's century sprint is not bad. if i recall, it's also about 8.6 (or was it 8.9s)

Perseus76 2nd Gear April 14, 2006 Share April 14, 2006 i went to CM AML last weekend, but they say no have and will only come in in July...so no test drive till they bring it in lor. went over to PI to see the showroom car....rear seats typical swift, not much leg room at the back....especially if the driver is tall......boot is also very small. the stock seats offered by PI is not the best of seats....looks ugly and not comfy in my opinion. pop open the bonnet.....no place to install front tower struct at all,...... or maybe handling very good liao, so no need install then the tower...has weld mark or dried silicon...look ugly and maybe fragile....machiam the suspension can pop thru the tower anytime if driven in uneven terrian.....
