Thanks to recommendation by Linus (fellow Mod), just came back from the shop..

 

Changed my tires to Hankook V8 instead as I dun need such high performance tyre.

 

Was on 195/65/15 changed to 205/60/15.

 

According to ah hoe, The diff in the speedo reading wun be too far off where actual 98.8km/h while speedo is 100km/h.

 

As usual, new tire tend to be more quiet, I will post again when I have run in the tire and see how it performs during wet weather..

 

P.S: I was surprised that he mentioned MCF....

you should have called robertoon to pre-arrange, can get more discount by virtue of being Mod in MCF....if robertoon doesn't give extra discount...you can ban him from posting

Gadgeter, d difference is 1km/h. Actual is 100km/h but speedo will show 101km/h.

 

I used it on my Sunny b4 (205/65/14). Rain or shine, i could confidently drive it @ 150km/h on NSH.

you using the same tire? not sure whether is it just me.. find me steering wheel response differently.. the feel when going cornering a bit different too. perhaps it is only fair to comment when the 'wax' wear out after 500km.

I used it 4 about 10,000km b4 i sold my ride.

 

What kind of steering response? From day 1, i could drive through d corner after crawford underpass (towards Suntec city) @ 90 - 100km/h confidently.

perhaps it is due to the fact that I have changed to a different size.

Steering might feel heavier due to wider tyre. In addition, there might b more steering feedback due to stiffer sidewall.
