Root Neutral Newbie April 23, 2006 Share April 23, 2006 any reasons to back-up,bro?? Using it on my current ride. Noise level is acceptable compared to other performance tyres, in my opinion. Good grip in dry and wet weather. It seem between certain milage, the noise get noticable noise but then become quieter after certain milages. Pretty decent tyres ↡ Advertisement

Elantrahatch Neutral Newbie April 24, 2006 Share April 24, 2006 Introduced a friend who drives a Grandis to the DZ101. Feedback from him is good in wet weather and well as dry weather. Balanced performance and good for the pocket. He paid S$180 per tyre. Oh ya, he is running on 17" rims.
Vertiga 1st Gear April 25, 2006 Share April 25, 2006 Looking for 225/45/18 tyres. I know that not many brands have this odd size. Any bro that have info on the tyres available for this size, will appreciate it.

Orablue 1st Gear April 25, 2006 Share April 25, 2006 (edited) Its really a pity Dunlop is not popular in Singapore. Walk around the car park and you'll find Dunlop pretty exclusive. But I like them. They are pretty good both wet and dry. My idea of 17" is performance and affordable performance... so I can put up with some additional noises... not that much with this dunlop... I will consider the sp sport maxx if the price is within my reach. go for dunlop dz101. it's good enough without burning a hole in pockets. i'm using them right now (5 months already). wet and dry, very good! cornering at 70km/hr, it is still grippy (wet road). very happy with them. noise level? this one depends on yr car's noise insulation. this is very subjective. if yr car insulation is good, you wont hear any tire noise. most impt is the gripping performance of the tyre. yr life depends on this factor.
