Dear All, with the kind help of bro Starletgt, i've installed a 2e gearbox.Driving feels so much smoother and i'm able to high rev without causing much stress on the engine as compared to a 1e gearbox.I would definitely recommend it.

hey eugene i wanted to change to 2E gb too bec now my 1E really drinkin my petrol.. the 5th gear hardly is an overdrive gear..engine revs at 3200rpm just to do 100kmph... i would want to change to 2E but is there really a big diff?? if u say now it 3000rpm at 100kmph then i think wont really help in FC leh.. pls advice bro..

mine also a 1E leh,

i need to revs till 3000rpm then can hit the 100km/h

my current FC is 12+-km/litre.

is tat consider drinking pretol?

bro from wat eugene said, 100kmph at 2800?? i don think tat is 2E leh.. seems like a 3E GB to me.. from wat i heard, 2E shld be running 100kph at 3000rpm.. 2800??? i only wish for tat leh...really can save FC.. maybe i shld put in a 3E box after all.. want pick down shift lo... :( 1E gb 1st gear also like no use gear too short.. headache....

2E or 3E???

mine also 3000 rpm to hit 100kmph..

how to improve???

my engine eat oil, not severe type...

planning not to do a top overhual coz not 100%

will help, the mech told mi tis..

mine about the same previously

 

then add CAI and Monster, 3000rpm now can

hit about 110+km/h

 

but must tune the carb properly tho

dunno if mine is a 2E gearbox tho...

hahaa
