Azrielsc 1st Gear May 7, 2006 Share May 7, 2006 Well, I'm planning to get a small car for my gf so its a toss up between a Swift, Jazz/Fit, Edix, March or a Cooper. I personally would go for a 4-door hatchback as I have had enough trouble with 2-doors as it is. I love the Edix cuz of its novelty and its styling so i'm "pushing" for it. The Swift comes in as a close 2nd though... However, a R32 seems like a juicy alternative :) Must find more mod pics of the edix so i can proposition my gf! :) ↡ Advertisement

Blackmafia Neutral Newbie May 7, 2006 Author Share May 7, 2006 Hi Azrielsc, you mentioned that you planning to get a small car for your gf ya. But Edix isn't a small car! Unless your gf has superb driving skills (especially parallel parking), think she might encounter some difficulty. Of course you may say practice make perfect..but think again. Cooper is nice..if you want, I do have a deal. Mini cooper (electric blue) going for 80k. Owner is going for Airtrek Turbo hence upgrading. Of course, if you are contemplating between Swift or Jazz..I will pick the latter. Why? "Modable", good FC and sporty look. I have test-drive a Swift before buying Edix and personally I felt that it was under-powered. If you will be driving the car once a while, I think it'll be too small for you. March is out of the qns for me. Perhaps because I used to drive a nissan N16, the bad FC has cast a spell on me. My 2 cents ya

Azrielsc 1st Gear May 7, 2006 Share May 7, 2006 Thanks a lot about your comments. Well, looks like u have done your homework on these cars! Seems that my gf has to look at the cars before deciding. The Cooper is a great car but I can't have a 3rd 2-door car in the family. Need a small "people-mover" (an oxymoron... hehehe) for her to run about in and when I have to move pple, ie. 4 pple... Hence, the drive for a 4-door hatchback. Cheerio!
