I'm going for 40k servicing either in June or July.

May I know roughly how much will it cost? Which parts need to be replaced? I heard the gearbox needs to be replaced.

Also, which service centre would you recommend? Mine is Fit auto-gear, bought from a PI.

Thanks.

Thanks.

But can tell me roughly the estimated cost? Assuming the usual things need to be replaced? I'm not that familiar with car parts so I do need some advices in order not to be chop vegetable head.

Thanks.

well, the price of the normal servicing that you need to pay such as oil, spark plug, oil filter, and now plus the air con filter, air filter, gearbox oil... maybe in the range of $200+? it's definitly not more than $300!

BTW, how's yr FC for Fit?

First thing: Renew Engine Oil,(Min. Oil lasts 5K, & Fully Syn.Oil lasts 10K- The choice is yours)

Replace Oil Filter & Spark Plugs(Stock lasts 20K, Iridium/Platinum last 100K).

Then replace your Air Filter Element. replace ur Brake Fluid, Transmission/differential Oil, Power Steering Fluid, Clutch Fluid, Engine Coolant.

Check ur washer tank water, battery distilled water, clean & lub all door hinges, locks and catches, including ur Battery Terminals.

Also check ur Wiper Blades, all lights, engine compartment hoses(check for leaks or unusual expansions), In-line fuel filter(Replace if very dirty), fuses & contact, and ur Battery Charging Rate.

Free-play of Clutch/cable & belt tensions.

Do a rotation & balancing of ur Tires, also check Tire Pressure, & condition. Do check wheel bearing condition and renew if necessary.

Do an ECU diagnostic Check & tuning, adjust ur Idling Speed & Ignition timing. Pressure Test ur Engine Cooling System.

Check ur Steering rack & pinion, ball joints, tie rods, dust cover, drive shaft, dust cover & shocks.

Finally, Clean & service all 4 wheels Brakes, adjust handbrake, renew shoes & pads if necessary.
