instead of a single 12V 10W bulb use 4X4 LED (3.3V) and line them up 4 a row and stick it into ur dome ....nice bright color!!!

LED bulbs? many places lor. accessory shop at Alexandra village. I think they have 6 LED type. about $10

sand the dome at the top down flat and then lightly sand the sides so its less clear.
