Me also paid $105 per 195/55/R15 and comes with the standard stuff like balancing and there's also nitorgen. I almost bought the Gdyr Eagle F1 but read that the Thai made ones are not as good as the german ones so backed out. [sly]

Just got my Toyo T1R bout a week back and so far so gd. Haven't failed me yet when i had to e-brake due to errant taxi driver again!mad.gif Never fully tested the grip yet and these few days no rain so can't comment on the wet weather grip yet. But they do feel really grippy and steering response has improved. For the price you pay its definitely quality for buck. Once my tyres have properly run in I'll try to push it a little harder.

Overall, very satisfied with these tyres.thumbsup.gif

Best thing about T1-R, the balance of good performance with excellent ride comfort. Those that I have rode in always seem to ride like one series higher. In fact 45 rides like 55 series.

And the best thing was, I'm surprise how quiet the tyres are although there are suppose to be performance tyres. Most performance tyres tend to be alittle on the noisy side but overall they are pretty quiet! Now trying to get my dad to change his tyres to these as well! laugh.gif

I am using 205/55/R16 T1R for 10 months and had clocked 18K. Here is my feedback:

1. Better in all areas as compared to G3 & SP9000

2. Quieter than F1 for sure but F1 wins in Wet & Wet braking distance

3. Tyre is progressive. Gives good feedback to the driver, but I notice after 15K of use

its progressive nature decreases.

The only complaint for me on T1R is a longer wet braking distance as compared to F1 GSD3.

I chose T1R over F1 GSD3 are:

- a stiffer side wall, good for corners

- slightly lower price

- Quieter

just to check you said its cheaper than the gsd3? i called a shop and they were asking for like 200 - 220 a piece for the proxes. i can get the f1 at 140 a piece.

anyway would anyone know how much a 225/45/17 proxes tyre would cost? so i don't get chopped...

Try Yap Bros and check. I think their prices are pretty reasonable amd service has been pretty good and friendly.

hehe... so far clocked more than 1,000km on the T1R and they seem to get better and better! [thumbsup]

Jus came back from Msia over the weekend and had travelled on the "old" single-lane roads. These roads are mostly sweeping high speed corners so very good to try out the tyres. Tried 100kmph on the corners and the T1R grips well.

Like to ask Bros who are using the T1R - what tyre pressure did you pump? Me on 220 front and back.
