Kiwi Neutral Newbie March 16, 2003 Share March 16, 2003 I have a small (3 cm) crack at the edge of my rear tyre. The tyres are only abt 6 mths old. Should I be concerned? What can I do about it? Thanks! ↡ Advertisement
Wrxblue 1st Gear March 16, 2003 Share March 16, 2003 if the crack is at the sidewall, it is wise to change it. normally for a tyre..if it burst..it would be thru the sidewall coz it is the weakest part of the tyre and increase of pressure would cause the tyre to expand in that direction It is not worth the risk for the cost of your car and even worst your life. my 2 cents of advice..
