not really the best idea to remove it all together , but replace it with a High-flow cat converter instead...

not having a cat. will make the car exhaust smell really bad..

not sure about SG , but here in australia , not having a CAT. converter on an unleaded car is highly illegal..

slight improvement on mid to high end.sounds slightly louder.if you want real significant louder on ur exhaust, operate ur muffler and change to a bigger diameter mid pipe.

Frm my knowledge..here goes..

noise level not alot of diff but theres a difference.. slight one.

Perhaps a high flow cat will be a better choice that removing the whole thing

Improvement wise i think it has alot of factors that will play a part or so here. U see no point having High flow out of the car if intake is not sufficient rite?

no point also if intake is sufficient but the extractor that brings the pipe to the exhaust is too small too or not efficient enuff.

The tell tale of cat removal is the smell and white powder on the exhaust tip. Make sure the tip cleaned once the powder appears or you will have chance to get ROV to wave at your car for inspection.

I was using straight thru pipe in my previous car, but I gave up after few month. Can't take the smell when the car engine running and I am opening the booth. But this is one of the cheapest thus effective gain mod.
