hello.. altis owner... over at VOGS (Vios Owner Group Singapore),

alot of people sent their rides for servicing at the following three workshops, you can say its highly recommended and credible...

1. AutoSaver (2 workshops)

2. ProSwift (in Ubi)

3. River view Auto (in AMK)

they carry out maintenance, following the toyota maintanence schedule, using ORIGINAL toyota parts, and have the diagnostic tools and equipment to tune and service your car... 40k is a major servicing.. and alot of things need to be serviced and changed....

I won't go into the details else its a direct advertisement.. anyway, their prices are good.. and their workmanship is good.... No point paying something cheap yet putting ur toy at risk....

mmz... i have seen the second post.. no think i want to risk him... you can do a google singapore search of the three workshops.. they are pretty famous and good [thumbsup]

wats the damage as compared to BN with their butchering prices ? im driving a G9 and wanna do my 130k plus service.. Heheh.tongue.gif cos i haven went bk to BN since my 100 k service cos the prices there really buring holes in my pockets!! bounce1.gifunsure.gif

So wats the best among the 3 for my extreme case cos im driving it everyday of fear it might 1 day...... ( touch wood) unsure.gif

Im thinking of River View Motors OR AutoSaver. Cos got quite good comments fr the bros here.

I just gave RiverView Motors a call to chk on their Service Packages prices for my 130K above case for my G9. I was being trsf to Vincent their boss personally and he explained in detail wat he was gonna do and gave a rough est of the price tat he was gonna charge.

He said he will not any how charge u for those parts tat u dun need to change and he keep stressing on the word Transparent and said i can hang ard together with his guys while the servicing was done and explain wat was crucial to change and wats not and the price of it soley depends on wat kind of stuff u use like oil and stuff

Quite a chirpy and nice guy on the phone and gave me a very welcome feeling right away. Will definitely gave him a try and chk his shop out. He says hes shop is somewhere near to the seagate factory in Amk.

Hope this info helps. sunny.gif

Yup.. this was what i heard too from the rest of the brothers from vogs.... Basically the most visted workshops in VOGS is proswift ... They adopt a similar approach like river view auto... They will give an indepth explaination of what he will do, and a rough estatimate of the price to be charge...

Likewise, they carry out diagnostic services, and will not charge you for those parts that you dun need to change... You are free to hang around with the mechanics while servicing is done... Explaination will be provided too... Basically these 2 workshops are highly reocmmended.... its like a very warm and friendly environment... Autosaver is more like ISO-certified workshops.. which specifically perform Nissan and Toyota maintenance... with all the equipment available... all 3 workshops uses original toyota parts, and perform accordingly to the Toyota maintenance schedule...

I have not visited them yet, coz just went for free 5k servicing at BM recently...

From what i gathered, the prices quoted are usually 20-40% cheaper than that of BM... Even if the price quoted is 20%, they will include freebie treatment... 40k is a major servicing, so do expect to pay more.. but definitely cheaper than BM...

For me, i feel that normal 5k, 10k servicing, we could just engage any workshop.. but my 2 cents is to stick with one good workshop that is good in worksmanship, and yet value for money.... From what i heard River view and Proswift, if you encounter any small issues, you can simply send them in for rectification... if u are a regular customer, they dun even count you for that.. Verified by people from VOGS... Since Vios and Altis are running on the same VVT-i platform... i guess you can have a piece of mind... they did so many vios (i think includes altis) to know exactly what they are doing...

For me, i can't really do a direct comparison here... Just do a GOOGLE Singapore search, you would be able to find the contacts of the above mentioned 3 highly recommended workshops from VOGS (Vios Owners Group Singapore)...

Just my 2 cents.. if anyone knows of good workshops.. maybe they can recommend too.. but mmz... i see an advertisement posted.. dun think that's allowed....

the prices which you quoted is cheap... but i think you can only service cars for normal 5k / 10k interval.. you have the equipment to perform diagnostic services? [:|]

I've tried autosaver at Ubi before. For a 30K servicing. Decent. can easily save 100 to 200 dollars on your 40K servicing.

Good morning bro,

i need some advise from you all.I always encounter problem to book for my car service at Borneo motors. Beside that, the cost is also high. When I talk to one of their staff and ask them if I can't send in my car for service in time, what will happen?

They said few thousand mileage different is ok. They even mention to me that if I service my car at out side workshop, the warranty (3yr or 100,000km) will be cancel. That means no more warranty for my car, even it not reach 3yr or 100,000km.

So I have no choice, must fix with Borneo motor workshop.....

Now my 60,000km is coming soon and also I need to change my tyre. But the cost from Borneo Motor is about S$747 for my vios. May all bro give some advise for me. at the moment I ready lost. [smallcry]
