Hopefully this person is the original owner, I have sent an email alerting him about the expiration and let's see whether he does something. I was also not able to see the site but got redirected to a domain squatting page. I believe there is a grace period to renew a domain when it expired. If the site is still down by then, can confirm squatter has successfully hijack the domain. Although legally, there are ways to 'recover' it. Reactivation is immediate, although dns record need a few hours to update, and vary from isp to isp. The info you posted were what I saw this morning, and there is no reply to my email.
