Be it on street or track, coilover lifespan normally hang ard 3years by statistic and prepare to get a brand new 1 by then.. N driving on straight was very hard for me due to the abuse of the previous owner.. Maybe mount kerb n play too hard cornering.. So, eventually i got to get a brand new rims n tires. IMO, should realli get 1st hand things that concern to car wheels! Imagine if it gaf way n that is the only point of contact onto the ground.. Cheers! Skywalker Neutral Newbie August 17, 2006 Share August 17, 2006 TEIN coilover has never been manufacture in Taiwan, only the lowered spring. This is "hear-say" from TEIN authorized dealer. I had TEIN SS for >1yr with >40K mileage, everything is still fine except they start to get softer, which is a common characteristic of all coilover.
