howdy all..

It's Brad here , from Adelaide.. i can finally post here now... [:)]

well , today i had the car on the dyno...

few months ago , with my stock glanza running gear , with 630x300 front mount cooler and full 2.5in. stainless mandrel bent exhaust , it made 115HP atw @ 12.1psi..

after installing the exhaust manifold i made , and putting 1.7psi more into it(total 13.8psi) , it made 138HP atw..

we thought that was awesome from a manifold i made myself.

then tuning the apexi SAF-C II that i bought in singapore , it made 150.2HP atw @ 13.8psi , from CT9b.

awesome figure from a 4efte with stock ECU and CT9b , very happy indeed.. [thumbsup]

cheers..

Brad.

this is the manifold i made..

it is a direct replacement for the stock one , keeps everything in the same location , but this has 32mm runners.. [:)]

the heat shield fits on it too , so it looks totally stock..

tuned lengh is a total myth when it comes to short runner manifolds, will have no gain whatsoever...

the 2 flanges are brand new laser cut items , and flange holes and pipes are 32mm diameter..larger than the head ports themselves [:)]

no restrictions at all [thumbsup]

I find that tuned length only decreases spool and ramp up times (esp noticeable when using big laggy turbo's) even with short runner manifolds but ah well thats still good power!! what are you planning next??

it certainly made it nicer to drive...

and the good thing with the high power from the CT9 , there is no lag [drivingcar]

except it just spins the wheels taking off from the traffic lights now , i will need new tyres soon [blush]

it's a 1997 EP91 toyota starlet..

rare 4 door , most of the EP91's here are 2 door..

front bar is a Jetspeed bar , that has been modified for the intercooler
