Dear Moderator, I wish to respond to a posting but was not able to as there is this red cross sign and no posting allowed mentioned at the top right of the postings.

 

I would appreciate it very much if you could enlighten me on how to activate it to respond.

To all MCF members (new, current, seniors etc),

 

With the amount of new members we get coming into MCF and participating in the discussions, I think this might be a good time to bring to your attention the "Guidelines on Posting Rules" as stated in the "Terms of Use" link at the bottom of the MCF main page.

At the bottom of this page will be the following extract:

Slanderous, defamatory, obscene, violent, abusive, threatening and harassing comments will not be allowed.

No personal attacks on other participants

Please do not stray from the discussion topic.

No political or racial comments will be allowed.

I noticed that a posting has been put up today entitled " Should MM Lee step down" under Lite and EZ section.

 

As this has evaded into a political affair, I seek your opinion and review as to whether it is unappropriate for discussion of this subject in this forum. Thank you.

When you see the red Cross, it is either you have not log in.

 

Or it is a thread in the Announcements Folder.

thanks for your alert. we are removing that thread.

 

most of the moderators are helping out on their free time. We are not here 24 by 7. for such threads. We will normally remove it when we see it.

Hi,why is the thread on "Turbonator", formerly in the Performance folder removed?

 

I thought it was informative for anybody surfing the forum, looking for data on mods. Was it due to breach of some forum rule? Or specific request by forummers?
