Bodykit outline

wanna get some advise from bros here, my ride is gonna go spray painting, should i get the painter to putty the outline of the bodykit? meaning that the bodykit is flush with the stock bumper.... my concern is that will it crack after long run(3-5yrs), leaving a long crack line...?

hmmm your bumper is not even flush with your car body(upper left corner of the photo). Looks like u banged someone and didnt realise it.

he is right!! someone either reverse onto your ride or someone in yr family "kissed" the front a little... not a big issue though... they would be able to fix it up

Definitely will crack in long term basis. However, it'll look really nice and neat for the first year. The cracks appearing on the putty will slowly becum longer and longer one. =)

i am disscussing about the bodykit, not the stock bumper...

if that's the case, then i think i shouldn't ask the painter to flush the outline...but very tempting to do that...

no need to put putty la...

 

soon, it will crack up.... confirm this one will happen after 1 year. then it will look even uglier than now.

 

my ride's bodykit is cracking up already.... put putty and all, but now, cracking up already....

 

so no point doing it.

 

just spray paint will do...

I second that. Cuz the bodykit on my accord is rivoted. painted go thru puty and spray. look nice for the first few months. cuz when i hit my skirts and got a slight crack. the crack goes on. now quite long and ugly. trying to remedy it. =( but bolt on look abit fugly wor..
