CA, if you want to sell taxi and more taxi, then your strategy works. Do something, Skoda should be more than just taxi in Singapore.

Anyway the Ambiente is gone, and I too miss it cos it was getting a bit old and parts were breaking down.

 

Will hunt again for a Skoda if conditions and the pocket are favourable.

dun be dishearten. heard Skoda Octavia is one of those cars that last

for years (more than 10 years perhaps). Too bad, the design of mk 1 dated

some 7 yrs back (?) or more? well, great car.

Don't know of anyone who has fork out that ridiculous amount of $$ for the Octy II.

 

If I'm not wrong, they have not sold any Octy II yet. Octy Tour yes, I've just got mine.

 

There's no way that I'm going to pay a premium of almost S$10k above the Tour for Octy II with that kind of specs. Engine almost similar - both 1.6l although auto-gear is different. Look better than Tour but doesn't justify that premium. Can put the S$10k to better use than splurging it on the II !

Or maybe invest the S$10k with a decent returns of 3-4% per year over the next 10 years instead of letting it depreciate .....
