Carpark coupon refund

Hi, anyone knows if one can ask for refund of torn carpark coupon valid for the following year from URA? For example, someone tore wrongly for 2007 instead of 2006 and only realised it when all the relevant tabs fot year, month and time have been torn.

If any one of the tabs not torn, can still go HDB branch office to get replacement. But if all torn, and it is becos you tore year 2007, then maybe can go and try.

I have about 20 pcs of coupons that only torn up to hours (minute tabs not torn), cos i always tear wrongly.

 

but i cant find any details about the exchange/refund on HDB website, anyone exchange before? other than HDB branch, any other places can do exchange too?

I think the way the authority system works is too rigid. I still remember I was conned of 40 cents years back. It happened when I insert coins to use the MSCP water dispenser. It turned out that either the dispenser is spoilt or the water tank in the roof has ran dry as no water was dispensed even though I have paid like 40 cents (I tried twice). Felt cheated, I called up HDB and was referred to umpteen numbers until I almost gave up. From HDB to URA to the constituency. Guess what happened in the end? They finally told me that I have to make a trip to the constituency office to claim back my 40 cents and may have to provide proof.

 

I gave up. The amount that I have to spend to get me there would cost more than 40cents. Whats more.. what kind of evidence can I produce?

wah, u have so many pieces, it's worth the effort to go to any HDB branch office... they will refund, no questions asked...

I've done it before. went to a HDB brach office and they did it for me.

In my case i was in a rush.... i tried to punch 4 tickets at the same time and kinda punched a hole through all 4. brought the 4 tickets along with those i used to HDB and they refunded me the $4.

 

Not really worth the time and effort but i was free that day and bored

really meh? i think it's only troublesome.. as long as not all tabs torn. i dunno abt "tearing for the future" though, esp if u request a refund before the date shown on the coupon

If the minutes tab not torn, then just go to any HDB branch office to exchange. Not sure about refund. Old old ones also can exchange. In any denomination you like also :)

 

My latest trip got me $7 worth of 50cent coupons for my old old $2 overnight yellow coupons which only has year until 2003 and some cocked up $1 coupons :P

Go HDB branch and do refund ... as for me ... I'll always tear the year last .... so that if I were to get any part of it wrong ..... the year tab is still not tore ... so can still get refund ....
