hey dudes, care to pit this sumo against toyo's T1R and yokohama'a A539 and dunlop's SP9000?

 

honestly, i'm asking cuz i'm switching from my 185/60R14 to 195/45R14. if my march K11's arch clearance and my wallet allows, i'm changing my current 14x6's to enkei ES-Tarmac 14x6.5's.

 

thing is i'm not too sure bout the difference between 'J' and 'JJ' rim flanges. also, dunno if 195 tires are too wide for 14x6's, should my wallet not permit the enkei's. ALSO, not sure bout the offset difference between the new n old rims.

 

so hit me back man, i'm this -->||<-- close to spending some money. very hard to find mechs who give a s*it, so difficult to get a decent honest opinion.

a539 is replaced by cdrive

sp9000 replaced by sport maxx

 

sport maxx > t1-r/cdrive > any falken/firenza tyre

wat do mean 'replaced'? r u saying they dun manufacture those models anymore? instead they've come out with cdrive n sport maxx in replacement?

 

neither of those come in 195/45R14, so i guess its toyo for me. well, they DO look pretty dang good anyways

 

but does anydude have anything to say bout changing from 185/60R14 to 195/45R14? my fren thinks its too low profile, calls me crazy. anydude wanna retort? haha

replaced = superceded

but some still in production, or old stock (see the XXYY date code)

u can check the sp9000 that autobacs is sellin now cheaply, made in 2003, who fits those tyres good luck, hard as a rock already in the sun n rain all day

 

185/60/14 or 195/60/14

depends lar ... don't drive fast does not mean that the tires have never been abused.

maybe rub against curb and side wall damaged?
