was wondering if there's any bonding issue if you apply Klasse AIO over RMG?

btw, how is Merzena PO106FF compared to RMG, in terms of cutting properties/fillers?

Does PO106FF produce ALOT OF POWDER?

Does the following make sense for a Black Ride (want to achieve DEEP WET LOOK). Please comment:

1. DA PO106FF+RMG mix

2. AIO

3. SG

4. Wax

Thanks

Hi bro Wishing, not too sure about AIO and SG but I have always used PO106FF+RMG follow by JW Prime and AJ with no problem.

Btw there is not much cutting property in RMG, mainly fillers, but it does reduce the dusting of PO106FF greatly and the PO106FF/RMG mix also gives a better depth as compare to using PO106FF alone.

bro, thanks for the advice.

i am thinking of trying the RMG on my black ride. would love to get the "pop-up" wet look of the RMG PLUS the durability of a KLASSE Sealant. was afraid that the filler in the RMG(oil-based?) may not provide a good bonding for the KLASSE Sealant.

is JW Prime acrylic too?

Thanks.

Same manufacturer? tat's interesting to know.

anyway, i just search through the Autopia's forum and there are members there doing the

"RMG OVER AIO" instead. [dizzy] now.. i am totally confused. haha.. maybe i shld revised the steps as such:

1. AIO

2. RMG

3. Klasse SG

4. Wax

???

Btw, are there any "cutting properties" in RMG or is it just a "filler"?

Hi bro Wishing,

JW Prime and Acrylic Jett are all acrylic base, and they are the latest and revised version of acrylic system from the manufacturer. You can try using RMG before or after AIO and see which way you like best. RMG mainly provide filling property, not much cutting action. You can never go wrong with RMG on black color car [nod] .

Thanks bro. will try out as advice. :)

btw, i realise you were doing the VM/RM mix in your other posting- could you share the reason of this? if it's too sensitive (trade secret), i will understand.. [;)]

Btw, where can i get the Merzena stuff locally?

thanks.

No trade secret lah [;)] , VM has mild abrasive and RMG has filler, so mixing it you get best of both world. All the products you mentioned can be found in my web site, click on my signature and it will led you there [sly] .

Trying the JW acrylic range will be a good opportunity for you to try something easier to apply and maybe just a little less durable.

If you run durability tests on the AJ, do keep us posted! [thumbsup]

Pardon my lack of knowledge but wouldn't JW Prime remove the fillers which RMG has?

Hi bro Swishbrade, Carnauba Jett is considered a carnauba wax, the main difference as compare to other carnauba products is CJ is a water based product whereas other carnauba products mainly are solvent based.

When we mix 106FF with RMG, we can see that there is a significant improvement in the depht and wetness of the paint work. Personally I am not too concern about the fillers in RMG, it is the depth and wetness I am more interested in [;)] . When I follow 106FF+RMG with JW Prime, I noticed there is a further darkening of the paint work, especially useful for dark color cars.
