Quantum 5th Gear November 6, 2006 Author Share November 6, 2006 (edited) forget about civic lah, no one can challenge it BTW right now, no PI dare to import 1.8L Axio, they worry about it become next Altis 1.8 Edited November 6, 2006 by Quantum ↡ Advertisement
Quantum 5th Gear November 6, 2006 Author Share November 6, 2006 Supposedly. But I think good chances that in SG will eventually be made in tomyam land. if like that, Latio, city... etc will be defeat fastly by Axio tomyam price[laugh]

Minicop Neutral Newbie November 6, 2006 Share November 6, 2006 Altis is TomYam Gen 9 Corolla. It just BM switch from Jap Gen 9 Corolla to TomYam Gen 9 Corolla. so Toyota still correct to say Axio is Gen 9 cause in Jap no Corolla Altis only Corolla. Weixiang_06 Clutched November 7, 2006 Share November 7, 2006 (edited) The Toyota Corolla Axio is the 10th generation Corolla sedan, comes with Super CVT-i (Super Continuously Variable Transmission-intelligent) transmission that provides outstanding cruising and environmental performance and a super fuel efficiency of 17.2km/l. Now it is available from PI only $56k+, will it challenge altis top 1 position? Engine Displacement (cc) : 1496 Compression Ratio : 10.5 Max Output (bhp/rpm) : 110/6000 - Max Torque (Nm/rpm) : 140/4400 BRAKES Front : Ventilated Disc Brakes Rear : Drum Brakes Curb Weight (kg) : 1100 Length (mm) : 4410 Width (mm) : 1695 Height (mm) : 1460 Wheelbase (mm) : 2600 FC 17.2km/l That's even better than my current 1.5 tomyam thai-yota... which i get constantly 15.7km/l... somemore this axio is super-cvt.... acceleration and responsiveness smoother... and the fc is solid.... can beat korean fc till jialat jialat, i tot my fc is not bad like until i see axio..... Evildoer Neutral Newbie November 7, 2006 Share November 7, 2006 Eh.. I thought Axio will be replacing Altis? No point having 2 different Corollas on the road. when is altis an corolla? anyway altis will be creamed by axio
Rickster 5th Gear November 7, 2006 Share November 7, 2006 Totally wrong. The G9 corollas in SG area all made in Japan. Only from the Corolla Altis then SG start to see it being made in Thailand. The G10 is Altis and G11 is Axios.
