agreed that it just some mechanical & electrical parts assembled together...but it is the workmanship & pride in quality that counts... [:/]

Since you're once a Fiat owner with some sour experience , go take a look at their latest offering or even test drive one so as to give yourself a second chance.

i have called my SE to check about the 185 Bravo. He advise me not to do it yet as the FC is really Bad at the moment, they have to "stablise" it first before letting us do the Remapping of the ECU.

I am quite hesistant also but went ahead with it. Will be collecting my car thur night and can then feedback for the benefits of all Bravo owners.

But I think we need to set the expectations right, you can't get power without sacrificing FC, however, 50% drop is way too much liao.

Hi bro, how's the FC of your new bravo?

"Italian cars are built with passion"

Which seems to be the excuse for crap build quality and reliability

Back to the subject, you dont buy a Fiat for high build quality, you buy one because you want a Fiat!I have to say, the UNO isn't their best offering by far, try something else.

The current line up of Grande Punto , Bravo and the just introduced 500's have much better built quality then cars that are roll out by Fiat 20~30years ago.

Fiat has no Italian passion in car design at all until Grande Punto which followed by bravo and 500. All the rest of the models b4 are crappy soulless in design and built.

It was not until they finally wake up from their complacency after declining sales did they get Giugiaro to breathe sexiness to their car design in Grande Punto.

nothing to do with Giugiaro or pininfarina or bestone or any other italian design hse.

It's the managment decision at that period of time .

Fiat turn around under the stewardship of the current CEO .

not bad since e bulk of depreciation is absorbed by the first owner.

but den HEARD fiat the spare parts super expensive and after awhile the things start to break esp the electronics.

You are right. 65k should be a reasonable price.

New is only about 80k, unless you take all the accessories like spoiler, side skirt,......etc.

when I buy USED , i wouldn't be moved by the 'sweet talk' of :"this car comes with expensive ICE , front n back spoiler , side skirt , leather seat sport rims etc etc"

Those are just accessories which may not be my cup of tea .

I will just ask around the market price of that model and will just pay probably a few K above paper value .

Cannot? walk away lor ..
