Mit Colt Version R

Went down to Leng Kee today and test drove the car again ... Loved it to bits... acceleration was quick ... too bad my friends and other half didn't like the car one bit... sigh...

They complained that the ride was too harsh especially when you're sitting at the back. It was okay to me though, guess I'm used to it as my current ride is pretty hard.

After working out my sums, it's more worthwhile to keep my current ride, what a disappointment as I really like the car ...

Managed to take a few quick shots ... would've like to take more, but the SEs were tied for time as many wanted to test drive the car [:/]

If you miss the event, you can go down to Creative Sports workshop at 51 UBI Ave 1, 01-31 to check out the CVR Ralliart Kit. They had one fully done up, likely will be on display there.

I think for the TC models only, cause I was actually inquiring them about the colt plus and told them about the 4k discount but they said it does not apply to the colt plus, but they can give 2k discount. Only for event too.

Hi all,

Am new here.... Was reading up on all the posts about the CVR and decided to chip in my 2 cents worth...

I bought the Colt Ralliart Ver R last week before the Turbo launch after trying It and the Swift sport twice... The Swift sport had been my 1st choice for a few months and when i tried it together with the CVR on the same day, i muz say iwas blown away by the turbo on the CVR...

The power and acceleration was much more rabid than the Swift sport but the swift has a more engaging drive... but the prive and high OMV of the CVR swayed me man... OMV of $18500 compared to the meagre $12400 of the Swift sport... Plus i got the $4K discount so the price is now $61488, which is less than the swift's $61900...

Those who are interested, go try man... it's a really good car... good buy too... but my insurance is high... at $2878... but i am young, 26 this year and this is my first car, so i expected it to be high...

Well, all i can say is that I LOVE THE CVR!!!! It's the car that gives you the best value for your moolah (IMHO)...

Well, hope i helped convert some of ya...

Cheers,

Vin

You still have an opportiunity to register the car under your dad's or mum's name to enjoy lower insurance.

Insurance will be lower even at 0% NCD, estimated ine the range of S$1,700. Turbo car command higher insurance premiums.

Then when you get your next car, when you are in teh "low risk" 30s age group, register your next car under your name. Insurance will be cheaper even at 0% NCD.

* Do take note of how much your insurance excess is.
