none other than LTA.

b4 we all talk abt the conversion process......

 

first thing you must have in yr pocket.... $15,000-$20,000, coz this is the amt you need to pay LTA for the conversion. this is the 'discount' given by LTA when a driver buys a new OPC car. so if want to convert back to normal plate, this amt is needed to be paid. no loan or instalment for this amt.

You need cash. Pay to LTA approximately $1,700/year for the life span left for conversion. Top up $100 as conversion fee. Take note that this amount cannot be factored into your existing car loan.

 

Otherwise, trade-in and buy a normal car. (also may need to top-up money to the finance company should you have a large outstanding loan)
