Firenza ST08 any good

anyone tried Firenza ST08 tyre

My personel view, I will not use this brand again

Bought 4 new tyres ( ST-03) , about 1.5 years later 2 burst.

One burst in Singpore and I have replaced it with a used one (another brand @$20) as the other 3 can still use for 1 year (est based on the tread remain). Drove up to MY and along NS highway, another type burst (ST-03).Eventually I have replaced all the 4 tyres at KL ,worried that the other 2 ST-03 tyres may burst on the way up to Genting, so don't want to take the risk. For ST-08, not sure .

I'm drove at 100km/hr (lucky I'm driving on the left lane and managed to stop on time before any serious damage to the rim etc )

I hope you & your family is safe and nothing happened to them. 3 things I dun save on; tyres, brakes & engine oil.

 

I know Firenza grip is sucky but I didn't know the quality was even worst

Nothing happened to us

 

Just to share my experience and both tyres burst on the inner side of the tyre as shown in the pictures, and i did a checked....don't seem like any cut that caused the burst.

Bro,

Safety is very very important. Not worth saving a few $$ and risk your families life.

 

A tyres should not blow out this way even on impact. Looks like tyre was either using poorer material than designed for, may be due to cost cutting. Cheap things may not be good
