1) One circle around pad is WAY too much. Just 4 peanut size like what Gen2 said is more than enough for 2 x 2 feet.

2) Dirty might not be that visible. Try using a soft bristle toothbrush to brush the pad.

3) I wouldn't use OP with a orange pad (unless you're very good with DA). You should never go to a more agressive pad unless you've already tried a more agressive polish/compound on the same pad. Going to a more agressive pad is a last resort. I can pass you some OHC to try with the orange pad.

If you're using a low power DA... too much pressure will bog the DA down (slower).

4) OP should take between 4-8 passes depending on your DA speed and pressure. Do a few more times you should be able to get a hang of it. The DA you're using also makes alot of difference. OP is not that easy/quick to breakdown btw.

5) I drive a swift... very very small bonnet... I split my bonnet into 3.

What car are you driving? Jap cars generally have softer paint (I don't have much experience with that many cars). Honda paint is soft (tends to haze or even have holograms if not done correctly)

Experiment with a few combinations of polish/compound and pad on a small area on the bonnet. Once you hit the right combo, speed and pressure then you continue with the rest of the bonnet.

erm....i believe OP is the least abrasive one right now, followed by Optimum compound then Hyper Compound.

I do believe I'm putting too much polish on the pad and btw I'm using a Bosch 270 so which speed do you guys recommend me to use? =)
