Gear Oil test in BITOG

Eh i sort of read through their test between the schaffers gear oil and Amsoil gear oil.

But i had no idea which is better? The one that traps more air? The one that climbed up the egg beater or the one that pushes away from the egg beaters.

From my understanding of this article, schaffers is better.

 

Coz

a) Min air trapped.

b) Oil climbed up the beater to lubricate.

If you are considering changing your transmission oil, I'd recommend Redline. Can get that locally too.

What gear oil you using now, bro?

 

I can confirm there is very much difference between a basic gear oil (those in typical workshop, stamford tyre, etc) and synthetic gear oil. I have tried Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil and redline, and will never go back to those basic gear oil again.
