Tks Brickman and AutoS... now I know what it means.

Back to the CDT Cambria, how many inches of that model do you have? For all sizes you have? My stock speaker is Philips and I really felt like changing it as when the bass get a bit turn up, the speaker would gimme the fluffy sound. Damn pek check when that happens. Will the CDT do the same? I would expect it to be more control in its handling of bass.

6" or 61/2" same diff, are the only size for 2-way spkrs for upfront use. If spkr change the whole sound quality will transform. Megafocus can confirm W/ U rite? [;)]

I had my front stock speaker changed to CDT Cambria by AutoS last Friday. Considering it is driven by the HU and no amp, I have to admit that it sounds much better than before. I am not an expert in ICE, so I shall not recommend that the Cambria is very good (but it is to me), but I strongly recommend AutoS as an installer and consultant you should consider. He does a good job.

Anyway Jeffrey (AutoS), how do I run-in, and how long ?

I also met a Jason there, wonder he is in this forum.

The Cambrias not so crucial, like most spkrs in running in although will improve a little over time. The Classics and HD's give the biggest diff after running in and are indeed quite audible in diff.

Jason only in ICE and Toyota and Mits forums I think. Anyway look 4 his Corolla ICE set up in next Hotstuff Mag issue.

Current Wheels Asia got simple neat CRV set up done by Zoom, can also take a look see. Simple as may be got some innovative ideas implemented AutoS style which not only improve cosmetic neatness and save space but also improve SQ. In particular check out fabrication of 15" sealed fibreglass sub enclosure in the well and the torpedo rear fills firing from the roof top rear.

Guyver, you should consider yourself lucky.

You have the chance to learn from the expert and fellow forumers. Save you the $$$ and frustration from being screwed by !@#%$#%#$ installers. [mad]

So learn as much as you can and you will definitely benefit the next time your turn comes to do up your ICE. [:)]
